"Beyond Blogs"

This article in Business Week (May 22, 2008) is, perhaps, the best review of the business side of blogging, blogs and Web 2.0. In print it's a round-up of the history and the idea of publishing in the what's-after-Gutenberg age. Online it's a veritable linkfest demonstrating what it all means, what those of us who blog love and depend on from the medium for our age.

If you're in business and you neither write nor read blogs, you may as well use a typewriter for you correspondence. Your customers - if not now, sooner rather than later - are either doing it or they're at least influenced by them.

Take a few minutes and read "Beyond Blogs," then send it to your boss and encourage him to do the same.

And if you have a bit more time, read several of the pieces in BW's "The Future of Tech" Special Report.
