The international symbol of shopping for home furnishings?

A friend passed this icon to me today, one of the amusing little things email and the web allow us to do. It was originally titled as having something to do with marriage rites, but I think any man might embrace such a gesture or pose if he were told he didn't have to accompany his wife this weekend furniture shopping. And what's wrong with that? She's the one we need to make the trip.
