"The new scuppies"

From USA Today last week, the announcement of a new descriptive, generational, demographic term: "socially-conscious, upwardly mobile persons," or "scuppies."

And for them, "the goal is to make green the norm, not the expensive alternative."

"You know these people because they're everywhere. They eat, drink and sleep organic. They think it's easy being green. They want to live well while doing good."

And though they're witty, they're sincere. Maybe they'll change us all.
